Cerberus Security and Monitoring Ltd feels the advantage

Tag Guard has supplied its trusted partner Cerberus with various wireless technologies for many years.

TagAlarm, TagWatch and TagCam have all supported the static and mobile security operations of Cerberus to great effect. The partnership regularly leads to damage and loss prevention; arrests of criminal suspects; ensured duty of care toward the public who have entered dangerous sites, and lone working static security guards; and detection of unauthorised contractors at work. Together, we ensure that any type of property can be comprehensively secured, including construction, vacant properties, transport yards, materials storage yards and road works amongst others.

The Cerberus and Tag Guard 24 hour control centres are both in constant communication and the SIA approved, diligent and conscientious fast response teams and static guards paired with the cutting edge technology of the Tag product range are a force to be reckoned with.

Elite manned guarding and Temporary Wireless Building Site Security – a match made in heaven?

On the evening of May the 2nd, TagAlarm in conjunction with a static security guard ensured that a large social housing development in Leeds was protected from potential damage. Multiple detectors activated within a short period of time. This information was passed to the control room of our distribution partner Cerberus Security and Monitoring Ltd, who have a permanent guard presence on site. They informed the on duty officer, who was guided to the exact location of the incursion. Two intruders were removed from site before any damage occurred to property or person.

Vulnerable young woman’s life potentially saved by TagAlarm

During the morning of the 6th of May, TagAlarm indicated an unauthorised presence on a construction site near Wakefield. Our local partner Cerberus was dispatched, and their rapid reaction team arrived within minutes. They found a young woman on site in an unfortunate state who had been taking drugs. A police car was flagged down and aid administered. Without the TagAlarm activations that led to her discovery, the situation could have been very grim.

Stephen Hardcastle, MD at Cerberus had the following to say:

“Tag Guard equipment is easy to use and provides support to our static and mobile operations. The systems are installed, serviced and monitored by their operatives. The technology is adaptable, and can be used on any site that we need to cover”.
